Im considering a CF hood. But I drive a lot and the winter salt is heavy here in west michigan. Has anybdy run the CF hood over a couple of winters and noticed if the salt destroys the finish or worse, the materials?
if you keep it waxed, you should have no issues. My sister has a CF hood on her Civic, a Seibon unit, i think, and its like 4 years old, and has been in Michigan, Minnesota, and Matlyand winters.
Mine's been through one winter and it looks exactly the same. You just keep it waxed like any other body panel and it'll hold up the same. Unless it's real shoddy quality, then of course who knows. But a good quality one should be fine.
