hey there i have looked everywhere for vent removal instructions, but the only ones i seemed to find weren't for an 07. Im a new focus owner, and love it so far, have painted the vents and the radio bezel, but i couldnt get the damned middle one off lol. Anyone have any ideas ot make it easy? I noticed the whole damn tube comes with the actual vent cover at first which is annoying but im afraid to break something. lemme know.

are u talking about the vent above the radio. If so i need to start at one corner with a flat head screw drivers and work ur way around. be careful not to break the clips once u get it off u have to unplug the 4 way flasher and once that is done u need to push the side clips to slide it out the slot after that ur good to gizzzzoooo

I took my '06 vents off today. It's probably safer to use something with a wide, thin blade.....like a puddy knife. Use a thin piece of plastic to lever against. You'll stand less of a chance of marking the dash. The bottom edge was the hardest to pop loose.
