Well the other day i was bored so i decided i want to add some led's in my footwells. So i have it all planned out and im going to splice into the 12v outlet in the passenger foot well... So i tried to figure out how to get at it and i have no idea how to remove the center console to get at it. Is there a how to thread somewhere on removing the center console?

Two phillips head screws, one under each front cup holder insert, three 8mm or perhaps 10mm nuts under the bottom of the rear cup holders (pull up from middle and squeeze to lift the forward end). Then remove shift bezel and unplug seat heaters and or traction control buttons. Remove shifter and e-brake boots (e-brake handle needs to be up as far as possible). Lift out console, rear end first. Re-install in reverse order. Good luck

Thanks... been working on it for the past hour.. got it all wired, just need a new fuse (blew it testing it out... oosp) will post some pics after i get a new fuse after work

Well i finished it later that night... here is a pic of it finished

i ended up putting the switch in the footwell where the other owner had a hole

looks good when i did mine i put the leds under the seat and ran the power to the dimmer they dim with my gauges
