Hi everyone,

I haven't posted in a while dew to a problem with my computer.

Resently I was in a Deer Vs. ZX3 accedent, and i finely got it fixed.
I was able to keep my old beatup hood and was thinking about using it as a master mold for a C.F. hood.

What does everyone think about having a C.F. Hood, does anyone have one, and could you please post pic's?

I have one, there are several out there pre-made. My car was in an accident, and rather than buy a new factory hood, I sprang for the extra cash and bought the VIS factory carbon hood. It is really MUCH lighter, and I like the way it looks.

There are several out for our cars. I wouldn't go through all the work of making a mold and laying one up, plus Carbon fibre has to be cured under pressure in an autoclave, so its not as "easy" as fiberglass to finish. MUCH cheaper and easier to just buy one.

I'm doing this mostly because I don't have to front any cash for the project.
But mostly it's a challenge.

I want to prove to my self that i can do it.

I have a concept hood for the 05-07, but that won't really help you...I love it though, I don't know if it's worth the $500-700. I only had to pay $100 for shipping lol.
