After finding out that my 2002 Focus ZX5's 6 disc in-dash CD changer wouldn't read burned CDs, I have made the decision to get a normal head unit. I'd rather have a single CD reader that can read CD-Rs than a 6 CD one that can't. Anyway, I'd really prefer something with an aux-in in the front... any suggestions? Thanks!

JVC has a few front aux ones... Pioneers do too (flip the face down, and you'll see it)

The problem with Aux input on the front, is the cable can get pulled sideways and mess up the jack itself, very easily. I actually shorted out one side of HU internal power by this happening.

It's better to get a HU with Aux input in the back, and have a cable ran somewhere, like the center console, that you can connect to.

With this approach, you open yourself to a lot more options. Most HUs will read burned CDs. Read the specs though.
