This is the first car I have had that has lasted me for a long time. I've seen how my car uses its resources and now that it is getting older (96,700) it's using them differently. When I used to get oil changes, the oil in my car would always read the same (after and right before oil change). In the past 3 oil changes I have noticed my car starts losing some oil, not severely. It reads about a little less than half way between min and max. I change it every 3,000 miles, and well I guess my question is, is it normal for cars as they get older to start burning some of this oil? I know there are no leaks and the car runs great. I have not had many problems with the car. If anyone could just give me some info it would be greatly appreciated.
