I have a 2004 focus and when I start the car the alarm goes off. The key less entry works but it does not disarm the alarm. I have tried using the key in the door but that doesn't disarm it either. Is there an easy/cheap way to fix this or can I just deactivate the alarm all together, as I never use it anyways?

aftermarket alarm? or factory?

if its factory, should disarm with the keyfob when you unlock

alarm trouble

It is a factory alarm and the Fob does not deactivate the alarm. It will turn the alarm off once it turns on but when I leave the house and walk to the car all it will do is unlock the door. When I start the engine it tries to turn over but the anti-theft goes off killing the engine. I take the key out of the ignition push unlock on the fob and the alarm turns off and all is normal, but if I try to start the engine again the alarm goes off again and the engine dies again. ANY known causes of that.
