It started just fine the same evening. A few hours later I came back to my car and it wouldn't start. The headlights weren't working either so I assumed it was my battery. All the small red lights in the car were also blinking and there was an odd clicking sound after I had removed my keys during my attempts to start it.
We tried jumping it, but several attempts to start my vehicle resulted in the alarm going off and all the interior lights and indicators to go nuts. We got it started once, but the moment we removed the cables my car went dead.
What might be the problem and is there a temporary fix so I can at least get it to a garage?

Just wonder if you found the problem, as mine has simular problem.
Drove home from work and half hour later get in it to go and nothing no dash lights,idiot lights just a faint clicking sound.
Well I think its the alt. so I disconnect the wire to alt and all lights and gauges come back on, so I change out the alt. and now the gauges do weird things, speedo pegs,gas gauge pegs but battery is week so its on a 4 amp charger.
Anyone have these issues?

Well I knew if I replaced enough parts I may fix it.
It needed a battery and alt. Seems if the battery goes bad all electrical goes nuts.

Had any transmission work done? Even a fluid flush/change? My uncle had sometransmission work done and they didn't tighten a connector all the way and same thing happened. After they got that fixed the Body Control Module also went. Could be one of those. (Hopefully not)

Bought mine new and this is the first time its ever been touched.
Only 67700 mi. on it and its starting the nickle & dime process.
Time to sell it.
