I updated to the newest SYNC / MFT. When I go to the update site to "Confirm" it says that "No USB Drive with a SYNC log file detected".

The drive is the same one I used to update. What does the log file it seem to be missing look like?

How do I fix this?

In the SyncMyRide folder, look for a file named Sync_XXXXXXXX_YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.xml (XXXXXXXX = module serial number, YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY = VIN).

How do you do a sync update?
If you have MFT there is a greater chance that there is or will be updates, those of us with just sync with myford don't have any publicly available updates.

The update process involves downloading it from the syncmyride site, and extracting it onto a usb drive. The usb drive is then stuck in the car and it should prompt you to install it, and you would generally want to have the car on and running while it updates so it doesn't shut off during the update. Often times people go for a drive, or just idle the car.

At least you can get into the site, I can't even log into syncmyride anymore. Haven't been able to for about 6 months. I try every now and then and it always tells me email/passwords not right. Tried the Forget password question (Whats my pets name?), and apparently I dont know the name of the ONE pet that I have.[scratch][?|]

Whatever, works about as good as MFT does so I guess its fitting. [thumbd]

I'd like to help get you into your account, BlueIce. Have you tried having SyncMyRide email you a temporary password? PM me your SYNC login ID or VIN and I'll get to the bottom of it.

Thanks for the reply! I called and got this all straightened out yesterday because I needed to get into it.
