I'm looking at buying the PremiumCare warranty. Is there a dealer in Canada that sells with a heavily discounted price like Zeigler in the USA?

What prices have you Canadian guys been getting for yours?

Didn't get an extra warranty - the dealer wanted more then it would have cost me to maintain my car myself so it didn't make any sense. He was quoting me crazy prices like $80 for an oil change and $40 for wipers. I can get a synthetic oil change around here for $45 and OEM wipers off of amazon for $15...lol

^^ I think that you are confusing the Extended Warranty with the Prepaid Maintenance Plan.

I'm curious as well as to the cost of the PremiumCare Warranty in Canada as well.

I also know that this is very negotiable.

That's actually pretty reasonable. Fairly close to the cost of Ziegler at least for the premiumcare.

I'll be discussing PremiumCARE with my Ford Dealership once the returns from my scholarship come in. I'll pretty much just say hey, if you don't want to give me the price you quoted when I bought the car, than no go. This is a big moneymaker for a dealership, so they don't have much reason to say no.

No way! I got quoted 1780$ plus taxes on PremiumCARE for 60/100,000kms. It went down to 1580$ with negotiating. I thought I was getting a deal! Different province but shouldn't make that much of a difference.

Thank you Skippy, I have also called and was flabergasted in the prices that they offer. I sure wish I knew about this beforehand. I could have gotten a 5 yr 80,000kms for 975$ instead of paying 1500$. Lesson learnt. I should research before buying something.

So, basically 2 years... that's awful, right? The odds must be pretty bad that in the 4th and 5th year the car is going to have over a $1000 worth of non-normal maintenance work.

I also like how we get our distance in kilometers, but the USA gets the same number in miles.

Landau, Parkside and Mid-town. Mid-town was $100 more than anybody else. Extracare was $1015 and Premium was $1310. All prices +taxes
Keystone (where I bought my car) never replies to calls or emails. I can't wait to head back there soon!

I only drive 15 mins to work and 15 mins to the gym on residential streets for the most part so i wont be putting too many km on my focus, gonna get more km when/if i decide.

I think I am gonna end up telling them where to stick that price.

And I was quoted $850 for rust protection (lifetime guarantee).

the first part you mention isn't extended warranty...it's pre-paid maintenance (stuff that is never covered in extended warranties).
