insead of that why dont you remove your mirrors and paint them

you should be able to use them. See how much you can get some svt mirrors for, and how much it would be to paint them.

those are the same thing as svt mirrors..just buy some off a fellow user or focus salvage website...or even ebay..oh and svt mirrors are power operated so you may need to do some wiring.

Well, I am employed in a Ford Parts Department, and my price (cost + %) for the two SVT mirrors and covers before painting is $273. So I figure why not go with the Euros which will work with my non power setup? According to my calculations, 177 Euro= $230 uncle sams....

If you look at the marketplace section here and on Ebay, you can find a set of SVT mirrors in North America for about $100~120. That's where I got mine!

my orignal question was whether or not the euro spec mirrors would bolt up or not....I am assuming yes????

if i had 230 id be getting new headlights........

The mirrors may be backwards. IE concave when it should be convex, and vice versa for the other side. You need to find out if they're from a RHD focus or not.
