In this case its not as much about tire size (both are reasonably close per your numbers) but more about wheels. Naturally the taurus wheels must have the same bolt pattern and dimensions and the wheel offset should be close as well. Since you already have the wheels and tires, a test fit seems to be the easiest solution.

Yes, OEM wheels for a 2006 Ford Taurus will fit. Here is a link to the type of wheels I bought for my winter tires.

And here is a link showing the pictures with the 205/60R16 Blizzak WS70 tires mounted on the new rims with TPMS sensors -

Your tires are slightly taller than mine, so you should test fit them on the car to be sure. But you will probably be OK to use 215/60R16 tires, despite them being 0.75" more in overall diameter than your stock tires. Just remember that your speedometer will be reading slower than you are actually going.

They look better on Focus than older Taurus. Ford dealer nearby used to have tons of used Taurus rentals with these rims, so there's plenty to find.

i'm going to pick up a set of the 2006 Taurus wheels for 100$ tonight. Good excuse to go for a drive in the new Mustang too!

This might be sort of a thread jack, but does anyone know if 15s will fit on an SE with rear discs? I've got some snow tires from our old Hyundai that would work, but no matter how hard I try, I can't stretch them enough to fit these 17" wheels I've got.

The rear brakes are smaller than the front brakes on the Focus, and the base Focus S with it's 15" wheels clears the front calipers just fine. You can't go any smaller than this on the stock brakes.

With the Focus ST you can't go any smaller than 16" wheels as the front rotors are 12.6" dia vs 10.9 or so for the front of the n/a. The rear disks are just 10.7" diameter so the 15" wheels should also clear the rear brakes.

You would need wheels with the proper bolt pattern though.

picked up the Tauru wheels for 100$ and just scored a set of 205/60R16 Studded Goodyear Nordics for 200$ - 1500 km's on them. I'm in it for 300$ and i'll have a set of steelies from the tires that i can sell to pay for the tire install. Talk about getting away cheap!
