I planed to change 4 tires from 195/55R15 to 195/60R15 this morning. But the garage found one of them was broken, so I have to use one 195/55R15 with other 3 195/60R15. They told me there was no problem use those. But I still worry about the highway safety. I need drive a round trip about 1500km this weekend. Can any expert here solve my puzzle?

Steer clear of this slight mismatch if your car has ABS with traction control. Physically, you could get away with the mismatch otherwise, but it’s like a less extreme version of running on the compact spare – you won’t get the best handling out of that combination, IMO.

In addition to what post #2 says above it would be best to have the matching sizes on the front.
195/55 is at rear left. I just want to know whether I have to find another 195/60 to replace it before my long trip.

Advisable if you can swing it before you leave on a long trip.
