so recently i really got into the euro scene hense having a lot of vw friends. i was wanting to put some keskin wheels 16x7.5 in the front and 16x9s in the rear.ive seen one other focus on here like this but never new the specs on the wheels.am i going to have fender issues? will i have to pull the fenders?

yes youll have issues...yes youll need to roll the shit outta the fenders...

id run an 8.5 and a weird offset and see what happens.

When I had my 18s I could tell that there was room for about 1" more wheel on the outside (i.e. a 18"x8.5"). That said, there is also room to go on the inside too, so a 9" wide wheel may not work.

ive mounted a 15x7.5 rota with a 45mm offset to the rear of my car and it was SO CLOSE to rubbing I couldent imagine anything wider ever working right.
that should fit with no problems at all...

sooo i was browsing fanatics showroom and found a german focus show. I also came across focus-gallery.de to find that numberous foci have 9" wheels on the back. So hopefully within the next 6 months ill post some pics. euro for life!

not seeing why you'd want wider wheels on the back of a fwd car...

but that's a whole different debate. anyways, idk much about this topic...but i do know i've never seen anyone post anything about having rims that wide...so that may say a little something.
