Well I'm assuming you didn't get the svt engine then. Those cams are not for street driving and not something I'd recommend installing yourself. They are not a drop in cam, you will have to clearance some for the added lift.

and being your engine is basically stock right now, they will do very little for you. You have to open the head up to make them worth while.

Oh, and circumventing your time out with a new name, not a wise move there bud.

if this is gonna stay a DD, I would recommend Ford Racing Stage II's (can only find them used....rarley), Comp II's, or Crower II's if you dont mind doing some additional valvetrain work.

BTW, these cams are decent for DD, anything more and you looking at driveability issues. And they work best with a FR head or a P&P stocker...

crower II's are a bit too aggressive for a DD IMO. Cams will do the most for you if you have all boltons!!! else, don't bother, do all the boltons first, then come to the cams!!

Well i have FC: 4-1 race header, flex pipe, and CAI with SVT snorkle, Themral exhaust, Superchips power programmer, and BOMZ cam gears. Would i need bigger injectors once i get the cams? a friend is going to give me his old svt injectors once he finds them.

depending on what you are making for power, yes. I went w/ the 24 lb/hr injectors, but i upgraded to the svt just to be safe as I am making a crap load of NA power!!

I think your waisting your time unless your planning to pull your head. At the very least you need to pull your head, shave it .40 to raise the compression, unshroud the valves, bowl work, 3 angle valve job, knife edge the intake, upgrade the springs, 1mm bigger valves, and theres more. You should also at least port your intake manifold or get and earlier one depending on when your car was made. You wont be pleased with the stage 3's unless you do some head work.

its true, w/o alot of head work and prolly a FR head at that, you wont see more than 130 whp. however, you do get a substantial bump in power. For the same amount of money, you can get a cheap turbo kit and install it and make over 200 hp and still be a daily driver!!
