Sorry for opening a whole thread just for this question but I couldn't find much info on it. My valvetrain seems particularly noisy/rattly. With the hood open I can hear it straight from the valve cover, it's ok at idle but around 2,000 rpm it sounds like the cam phaser changes the timing and it is somewhat loud. Is this normal for the SVT? Inside the car I hear some rattling as well when I rev the engine slightly at a stop but when I start to release the clutch it is quiet so I'm assuming that is the noisy getrag I have heard about. Syncros grind at high rpm, probably had the wrong fluid for much of it's life. I'm really just curious about the valvetrain noise.
