I'm thinking about getting them for my car, but they charge an arm and a leg - I got them a long time ago for my MR2 "ETMYRCE." Yeah I know I thought it was cool at the time. [rolleyes]
BTW you don't have to go to the DMV to get the plates, they can be ordered online - you can check to see what's available too. If it won't let you order the plates, then the combination you chose is already taken (SVT4ME for example is already in use).
I'm on a military base in Cali. They used to give you a temp pass with 1 month to get permanent registration (plates) Now they give you 3 1/2 months. They are on the same counter as the DMV. I would just stick with whatever comes.
P.S. - you're probably gonna get crap from someone for putting this in PZEV Performance, since it's about license plates and not the PZEV engine. Prolly belongs in either General Chat or the Regional Forums.
