Just throw this one at you my cousin took my new 97 XLT 150 4.6L out for a joy ride and burned the tires off all the way to the cords i used WD-40 and a putty knife to clean the rubber off the fenders and fender wells.worked great for how much was on their!

haha I have the same year and model, and they are nice trucks. Mine is a 5spd and its got plenty of torque and "rubber burning power." I love going around corners when we got a fresh snow dusting, with it in 4x4, drop a gear and "drift" around the corner.

Nice! I worked at a dealership detailing cars and a lady one time ran through a huge thing of tar and it got stuck to her tire and flung all over he new truck. We used WD-40 and a putty knife as well as some 3M adhesive remover on the paint. Did the trick.
