I've read some instructions including mine that recommend to cut the bump stop. how many people did? FYI i didnt know untill after the install but im not worried about it.

you should have gotten new struts with lowering springs. you're stock struts and shocks are going to be worthless in a matter of.... 800 miles.

I cut the bottom rib off of mine and it still does its job without getting hit on every bump.
