Well i buffed my car last weekend and i love it, its night and day difference. I used 3M Extra Cut Rubbing Compound and it took 95% of the hair line scratches away. Is there something else out there that will take care of those little hair line scratches? Thanks for your help

I think the proper term is 'polish', not 'buff'...j/k
Did you machine polish this, or by hand? Not sure if the 3M has any fillers, but 95% swirl removal is pretty good.
You might want to follow that up with a light cut to give it even more shine.
Scratches? Well, if they are too deep, you shouldn't try to remove them. A rotary polisher has more 'cut' to it than an orbital, but I wouldn't try one unless your experienced (i.e. practise it on a Civic first)...

The polishing will take the hard edge off the scratches making them less visible...a glaze might help as well...

i did it with a orbital polisher/buffer. i actually just got into this polishing/buffing thing, i usually just washed my car and used a spray wax. So this was the first time. What kind of glaze would you recommend? Thanks

That depends...what colour is your car?
Also, what orbital are you using? What type/make of pads?

??? My grandpa got it from some guy that works at a dealership. I actually try to find it on the 3m website but couldnt find it.

As for my color its in my sig, i hate trying to spell it. I use a walmart orbital with micro-fiber covers. Am i suppose to be using a different pads?
