Head Light Tabs Broken-How to Fix?

I bought a set of Mach HID's but both headlight assemblys have the upper / outer tabs brocken (the tab that mounts to the fender) and i'm curiouse to see if any of you fellow Fanatics have ever repaired / fixed them? Cause these only come with 3 mounting holes, one on the radiator support, one to the lower part of the fender (that you have to reach from under that car) and the other woulb be the tab that goes on the fender top, which in my case suck cuase they're brocken. My other headligths have the same mounting points but also have a hole/ crew right under the grill (on the bumper, almost). So what to do?[dunno]

If you feel comfortable with it, you could cut the tabs off of your old headlights and attach then with epoxy or have them plastic welded to your HIDs. Though if that would get expensive, I believe the headlights would stay in their locations without the fender tab.

Could you try and see if the shipping company (FedEx, UPS, etc) could help with the fixing cost if they were damaged during shipping?

Now i have another prob.. i tried them on and wired averything to see how it would look (really great BTW) but i cant get the bid turn signal light to light up. Would you happen to know how this works?

Mach HID Install, need help please!

Well, again i'm in need of some help. This time i've got a set of Mach HID head lights that i can't figure out how to make the big park / turn signal light work. I wired everything up, and it works perfect, even the little light on the top (city light). It's just the big turn signal light that i can't get to work.

Any one know how to??? Any help would be much appreciated. [thumb]

Could you explain a little on how you currently have them wired up? I'm not familiar with the HID wiring harness. If you had to run the wiring yourself, it could be a bad ground wire connection, bad bulb, or a problem with the power wire.

Is this problem happening with both sides?

oh wait! I just ran out to the car and found out i wired up wrong! "it could be a bad ground wire" <-- when i read that you posted this, i figuered out what i did wrong, thanks!

It turns out that i was thinking that the two wires (city and park lights) were suppoesed to go together and that one of them was for the ground, and it's supposed to be one for the city light and the other for the turn signal, the ground is automatically take from the large headlight wires intarnally. I'm such a dumb butt!

Thanks to you though! I figured it out. I also fitted the lights and it seem that they'll do just fine with out the boken tab, they seem to fit snuggly!

I'm glad that you got everything sorted out. When I received my projectors, I made the same wiring mistake. I felt really dumb because I was thinking so hard about what could be wrong and it was such a simple solution. Your wagon is hot [thumb]
