Posting this in svt section because I thing our ebrake handles are different. Tonight my button on the handle was pushed in the release the brake and has trouble popping back out. I have to get violent with it to get it to pop back out lol [gunfire][boxface][rant] with out it popping out my ebrake will not ratchet and lock into position. Just wanted to know what I will have to replace, the whole lever handle or just the button? [dunno] or is it more serious and have to mess with the cable? any help would be great. I searched couldnt find much

is that one same as stock or is it better?
I am kinda disapointed with the stock ebrake system, can't slide my car sideways that easy with the ebrake

It's a direct replacement for the SVT.

My car will whip all the way around too easy if I pull the e-brake. The high friction pads I have might be part of it, they're dusty as hell though.

lol idk about all this sideways stuff but I was just hoping to have a functioning ebrake for parking again
