I have a 5spd 2002 zx3 with 103k mi.. No previous problems except with AC compressor... Has had no problems starting or running.. Then it just quit and has not started back up... Fuel pump is fine, changed the fuel filter... Still nothing... New plugs & wires... Pulled those anyways... They are fine, but no moisture on them. Timing belt is good & seems to have good fuel pressure and getting spark. It will crank but not hit. No check engine light ever came on nothing. Like I said no warning signs. Im thinking maybe the coil pack could be bad or fuel pressure regulator... But does any1 have a clue if this could be a sensor or elec prob?[]

It could be a crank position sensor, I dont know that it would have caused the car to just shut off but it will cause it to crank and not start. However if your getting spark thats probably not it now that I think about it.

What do you mean by that? The belt isn't moving when the engine does, or the engine isn't turning at all?

Timin belt was movin when it first took a crap... But no...

Nothing is moving? Is the crank turning?

Has your car recently overheated?
