heyy.. i hope u are having a good day and thanks for looking at my thread...
to the point.. my brakes are bad in the front.. im not going to get the rotors turned, im just gonna go ahead and put the pads on because i plan to do drilled and slotted next time.. is there anything specific that i need to do when changing the pads? is there any kind of special tool i will need because i know how alot of things on the SVT take a special tool..

(note) ive changed brake pads before on other cars..

I know you have an SVT, but my zx3 was simple to change both rotors and pads. they just unscrew from the spindle, and then the clips come off and the pads come out...pretty easy took me about an hour to do both fronts.

2 of the pads dont have any kind of clip on them.. is that normal?

The inside pads (the ones up against the piston) don't need any clips. The two outside pads are held to the caliper with them.

does anyone know the size of the hex head im going to need to get the caliper off??
