I have a 2004 Focus Wagon ZTW with discs upfront and drums on the rear. Is it possible to swap the drums for discs, and if so, how hard is it?

Not much help since that thread is for a 2013.

I will also point out wagons have a different rear suspension setup than the hatch or sedan ones, and I believe that you need different rear suspension parts for the swap.

This is a better link:

You dont need to change ANY suspension parts to change from drums to disc except the knuckles which you have to do on all (not just wagon). SVT (non-wagon) brake setup bolts right up to wagon rear trailing arms, etc.

The only difference between wagon and non-wagon rear is the crossmember and springs.

As well the rear shocks being shorter & mounted different.......You'll get the most if you upgrade your front brakes, which you'll need a pr of svt or '05 spindles, then the svt calipers as well as the rotors are a bolt on. 11.8'' vs 10'' as well as bigger pads/calipers.
