I'm planning to change my front rotors to slotted ones with the same stock size. could I do it by my self and do I need a special tool or is it a free floating rotor? need your input and knowledge on these area.
Since you have to remove the calipers to replace the rotors you should also consider replacing the pads and, at a minimum, cleaning and greasing the caliper sliding pins.
you should be able to do this job in 45 minutes total.and like ^geezer said...you should put new pads on those rotors while your there......easy job..good luck
It took me less than an hour and a half, to do this on my granddads truck.
