Hi Folks,

I'm a total newb with cars so please don't flame me!

I'm still on my first set of brake pads that came with the car (~108,000 km/~67,000 miles).

I don't brake hard so I guess that's why they lasted so long.

Any how, I haven't hears any squealing yet but I do know they are quite thin.

Does anyone know if they come with a wear indicator?

Also what's the part number for the Motocraft brake pads?

Thank you in advance.

Lucky you, mine didnt last half as long as yours did.
Mine all failed(all 4 wheels) in the same day on my OEM set.

No, they do not. Neither do the replacements.
Change them.

So literally my brake pads were worn out and I was stopping on metal which warped my rotors. Had to replace all four pads and rotors. $680 for all four tax in.

$680?!?!? Did you have a dealership do it??? Could have got all OEM parts and done it yourself for about $260 plus shipping from Rock Auto. Cheaper than that even, if you went aftermarket

Why wouldn't you check the brakes when doing your tire rotations? Just a quick peek is all thats needed....
