Aight, I know that the bolt pattern for the Focus is 4x108 and the offset should be 42mm-45mm but would I be able to use a rim with a 4x108/4x100 bolt pattern and a 40mm offset?

It might be a double drilled rim, having both 100 and 108.

my wheels (velox vx8's) are drilled for both 4x100 and 4x108. 4x100 is one of the most common bolt patterns for compact cars. most hondas, acuras, mitsubishis have this pattern. in any case, i have 18x7.5 wheels with a 40mm offset, and they fit fine. i'd prefer to have a 42mm offset, since i rub under hard cornering, but besides that, there's no problems. i can turn lock to lock, and have no problem at all.
