Just thought I'd show you a pic of my new Dunlop 235/40 series tires I put on the back of my Focus. They are about an inch wider than the stock Contis. I think It looks great, and the rear end is holding on better.

I played with the picture a little to enhance the tires over the car.

The picture I tried to attach was waaaaay too big I guess.

I guess the limit is 50k so I am trying to fig out how to make picture small enuf. I have a 3.2 megapixel cam. So file sizes are about 1 meg each.

Also, I tried a 255/40 Kumho on the rim, and it fit on the rim, but when we mounted it on the car it actually rubbed the shock on the inner side of the tire. I have a picture of that tire on my car too. Before we took it off.

I just use Paint to resize pics. Your tires look cool.

If you want me to resize it for me, then click on profile on the bottom of this post. You'll find a link to e-mail me on my profile page.

I go to view and just click on resize.

If Aaron can resize it and post it up, I'll just see it on the thread. If any problems occur then I will pm you with my email address and you can send it to me. I have to get new tires before track season starts, dont have a choice in the matter I've been hard on my stock conti's. lol [;)]

Alright. [thumb] Looks good.

Now tell me how do the new tires feel? Good stick? What would you recommend for daily driving and occasional track use? [:D]

Now that I am getting the hang of it, here is the pic I took of the Kumho 255/40's. I was pretty bummed they didn't fit. Those tires were REALLY FAT!!

The tires feel good so far IN THE RAIN!!! It's been raining just about every day since I got them. I have never had Dunlops b4, so this will be a new experience for me. They were the only ones in that size at Discount Tire, so I took em. Got a good price.

I REALLY liked the Yokohama Paradas I had on my Mitsubishi.

Usually a tire will have a width range that it can be used on.
Like rim width of 7 to 8.5
Meaning the the tire would fit on a wheel/rim that is between 7 to 8.5 in width.
I believe the SVTF is 7 or 7.5

It all depends on the tire and what wheel/rims they can accomodate.
Just check the tire wheel/rim width to see if it will fit your wheel/rim.
