I want to put a set on my SVT and they are on sale now. Is anyone using them and how do you like them? What tire did you have on the car to begin with? How is the noise? I have Nitto NeoGen now and they are pretty noisy.

I am not going to do the "summer-winter" bit with two sets of tires. I have a 4X4 if it really snows hard. I want a good all around tire. I am not auto crossing, just doing exit ramps at spirited speeds.

I have the bfg g-force sport which are ultra high performance summer tires. For me they are great but I use a second set of rims and rubber for the winter. The sports do have some road noise so I'd assume the all season tread would be louder. Continental's are what come on focuses from the factory. Sorry I cant be of more help but I figure the AS and summer tires cant be too huge a difference.

Dan,

I've heard great things about the new BFG A/S tire, but you may also want to look at the pirelli pzero nero m+s, I've had them on my svt for 20,000 miles or so, and they have been great, the snow performance isn't very good, but it can get you home if it starts snowing while you're at work. If you want a little more snow performance look at the conti-extreme contacts, I've had lots of sets of those on a few different cars and quite liked them. Any way you go you will probably be happy.

I have the BFgoodrich tires. They are an awesome tire if I do say so myself. A great compromise. Great dry and wet traction as well as good light snow traction. They corner awesome and always feel very ready for any situation on the road. I am definately buying them again when these wear out.

While we are asking, how about the new Goodyear Eagle GT? Looks a lot like the Nitto Neo Gen asymetrical tread pattern.
