Im wanting to change my PCV but i was wondering if any shops in KC are doing it without removing the intake?

Ive read a few posts that some can do it using long pliers with a hook and a crowbar to pop off the hose from the bottom.

Ide rather have it done this way then removing the intake which ive been quoted $300. labor

Are you talking about changing PCV or just changing the hose? The hose it is reported you can get with a hook nose pliers (car up on jacks, patience, a really good trouble light (maybe two). Having 'delicate' hands a real plus. The PCV itself would require you to remove the intake.

Maybe i just need the hose changed? I thought i read when it needs changed you change everything.

It does look like alot of bolts so i must of been mistaken on doing it with just hook pliers.
