What is the best ATF for a 2002 Focus Ghia 2.0i Automatic Zetec?

I know it needs to be Mercon V compatible but I would like to be extra nice to my tranny.

you can use royal purple.

I would like to use RP but I do not see anything Mercon V compatible. Do they have a fluid that is fine for a Ford Focus Automatic?

I will take that as a No about Royal Purple. Has anybody tried Redline in an Automatic?
