So I curbed it this winter slipping on some ice in the parking lot at my workplace.

Going about 10mph, the wheel hit square and i bounced off. Over time there was some uneven tire wear, CV joint getting wobbly, etc etc..

I get it checked out, control arm is fine, strut is fine.

I've not taken it in to a collision repair place for an estimate yet, but with a better idea of what I am looking at, it looks as if the point where the control-arm connects to the frame is bent inward about an inch, toward the center of the vehicle.

Any idea what kind of work/cost I might be looking at? Frame repair is not something I've really dealt with before.

Do they sledgehammer it? Use some vice to push it back into position?

Almost any body shop will have a hydraulic device that will allow them to pull your suspension back to where it belongs. It may need to be welded if it is cracked along the seams.
