I would like to replace the drive belt on my Wagon but there are two things I need to clarify first....First one is : beside the drive belt is it recommended or not to replace the tensioner as well or the tensioner needs to be replaced only if it fails ??
I am asking because there are kits on rock auto that can be purchased that would include the belt and tensioner as well.....I am not sure what would be the best practice so thats why I am asking......The other thing is how to determine if my engine is meeting the California emissions standard. Is there any way to determine, maybe a sticker under the hood, vin number or any other way ???

Thanks in advance for replying.:)
