A few changes were made to the car with the addition of the bbk and frpp tune. I had already done the vct delete previously.
I'm kinda leary of running the vct delete with more boost since I had a small problem with the motor at 5psi boost and the delete.
do realize a retune will be needed and the vct turned off again with the new tune. But I need a good starting point with the gears. or I'm thinking just put the vct back on to save the hassle. Just don't want to end up replacing pistons again because of this combo.
Is anyone else running this combo? if so were there any tuning hurdles?

If you replaced pistons it wasent because of the combo because I have boosted VCT Elim cars out there making well over 320+ with the VCT Elim

If anything it was because you didnt have your combo tuned correctly

There is no set place to start with on the gears because there is no pins in the cams , no pins mean 100 people could install gears and have 100 diff places they end up with , when installing cam gears you MUST adjust them on the dyno
