I have a 2002 Focus SE with a 2.0 SOHC . The battery light comes on after i start it and doesnt go off, even if you rev the engine. The battery was checked and found to be perfectly fine and is fully charged.
i took the alternator to Advanced and checked it and the output is fine. I also changed the belt to make sure its not slipping and cleaned the battery terminals.
Any ideas what to check next or what it could be ?

Check the pigtail (connector) that conncets the alternator and the wires, sometimes they crack/burn over time. Check the realys and the wires.
