Battery Disconnect wiring

How do you guys have your emergency battery disconnects wired. My other track cars I have stripped harnesses with standalone power panels so it is relatively easy. I have a 4 pole 2 circuit switch. I was planning on breaking battery hot side to alt and starter. I don't think this will kill car though. Any thoughts? Also where do you guys have the switch mounted?

I run mine like this. Power starts at alternator, goes to starter, goes to battery, battery is a small race battery under the hood. Battery goes to a Joes racing disconnect just one pole. Other side of joes disconnect feeds one wire to a chassis fuse panel, and one wire to the aem fuse panel, it has 4 fuses and a relay to put power to the fuse block. Twist the switch kills power to the chassis and to the ecu. Zero run on.
