so today really sucked, i was driving down the road going to my base, about 3/4 mile before i hit the gate, my car starts vibrating out of control, i pull over and check my tires......my drivers side tire lug nuts had broken clean off, the whole thread down to the brakes.......1 did manage to live.....but seriously, 3 f-ing lug nut mount broke off!!!!!!!!ill post pictures a lil later[mad] [mad] [mad] [mad] [mad] [mad] [?|] [?|] [?|] [?|] [?|] [?|] [?|] [?|]

The shearing of lugs is too often associated with over torquing the nut. Make sure to always use a torque wrench and its not a bad idea to check them every few months or so.

yeah no kidding, started out as a huge repair problem but turned into a $1.51 job as opposed to the $135.00 quote i got from a tire shop
