Wondering if any one has had this issue

A week or so ago I went across town to my nephews place
I hoped out ant walked back to pop the hatch and nothing , wouldn't open
I hit the remote and nothing
Went back to the drivers switches and tried unlocking from there , nothing
Dash was dead
Put the key in and tried to start the car , nothing
I opened the hood lifted the battery cover to check the battery connection
The Positive connection was so hot I thought it burnt my fingers
That is when all the power came back
Lost the clock settings but not the radio presets
Car started and no issue since

No, but my battery did randomly die. No low voltage warning or difficulty starting and then one day I get in and the dash screen wouldn't even turn on. Luckily it was warm and happened at home.

Terminal was hot thanx to resilience/poor connection. Remove it, clean it up good. I'dd also check the ground also & do the big 3 ground.....

The battery connectors on my old truck would work themselves loose while driving and do the same thing. Put a nice burn on my fingers until I got gloves for it.
Happened constantly, even after replacing the connectors because the terminals were worn(from constant cleaning, Mitsubishi stuff).
