I have a 2010 ford focus, and I am doing a build on it to up to 400 hp. I have hears that axles cam break a lot at such high powers.. Does anyone have a solution to my axle problem?.. Is there better axles out there.? Or a way I could reinforce it myself?.. I do own a tig welder

There are a few 500+ foci here running stock axles. You will be fine

Wasn't there one guy that was somewhere around 400 hp that kept cracking axles with high boost? He might have had more than 400, but I remember he went through two axles before he figured out that he needed something stronger.

I would ask FSWerks and Tom as they both are in the business of building high HP Foci.

If you are worried The Drive Shaft Shop I believe makes custom high HP axles.

Yes but they warranty their stuff and I bet they can make an axle that he WILL NOT break.
