I'm looking at replacing a torn cv boot (inner). It came from Focus-Salvage torn, but I'm going to replace the boot myself instead of giving everyone a headache. Anyone know where to pick up a new one? I checked out Kragen and found a bunch of universals but I don't know if I should trust them. Anyone have experience with that stuff?

they have them for the focus at autozone, just have them order you a boot. That's what I did on my old focus when it tore a boot. They don't have the ones that snap on, you'll probably have to take the axle apart to slide the new boot on. If you know what you're doing, go for it. The universal boots that I tried were all WAYY too big. Who knows, just my $0.02
