2 months ago I had an problem with a Steeda fuel rail so I had the Focus tow back home and its been sitting in the driveway after that.
So i pull the stock manifold out ready.

So the performance shop added the FR manifold, 70mmtb and now I have bigger problem

1)The accelerator pedal is an problem, gotta tape it to get it to move slow then when press down half an inch the throttle open 100%
I'm sure this can be fix

2)
I have my auto in D so when I take off it'll clank in 1st and 2nd gear and when it goes into 3rd it'll rev to 6g and just stay there and when I back off the throttle it'll go clank, clank and it'll just idle, put your foot down lightly and it'll just rev [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]g hard, wheels are spinning.

Now all the wiring harness are on and there's no engine warning light on so what gives????
The tb I have is the same as the M9926-ZX3R but, it didn't come with extra parts.
The blue air hole thats going under the air intake is going to the air idle controller

I was hoping for an reply back

The only way it'll go in 4th is that I rev it out all the way to 7g and when I back off it'll go clank, clank.
I can't find it but, Steeda clames this FR manifold adds another 500rpm
So if thats the case then the ECU wants to change gears after 6g but, then why would it idel? why would it down shift when I back off the throttle all the way????
Air doesn't go to the gear box, so it shouldn't be an problem

Also my idel when I started is higher then what it should be
IT's ideling @ 900 rpm should be around 700rpm
When It's in drive and driving @ 60km or 30mph it's 2500rpm and it feels like it's only ideling and the rpm should be lower
I think the ECU and MAF can't read the hi flow of air coming in????

Frist dont listen to much steeda has to say about the Focus , the FR manifold adds 500rpm? not sure what that means

The ECU and the MAF have no problem reading 20 times the air your moving

I would start by logging things like the TPS , MAF , and a bunch more something isnt giving the ECU the correct information and you have the tools to check things so start there

I played round with the TPS and taking off is some what better.
It will not change gears until after 6000rpm and @ 5500 it sounds like it's on the rev limter[wrenchin]
Sounds like it needs an tune?
Still feels like it's only ideling in gear????

I know your the Focus god but, Tom this FR manifold has done something to the timing or the flow of air is upsetting the cam shaft in some wired way.

What do we know
The Focus was changing gears fine before it went into the performance shop.
Also they had to cut the wiring harness on the idel controller due to wiring harness was tight and the harness going to the bottom of the head was tight to reach.
There was no play in the line what so ever.

sounds like a air leak in your intake I can mimick your problems and already have.. when I changed my TB I started the car without the intake tube oops theres a mistake I would check the seal under the intake and make sure its the proper one and everythings sealed up..

when I started mine without the intake tube in place, just opening it slightly would cause it to hit the rev limiter

The 2 outlet holes in red were block off.
Where the outlet is on top of the idel controller I took it off from the air intake and moved it down to where the outlet was block off.

It won't change gear until 6g but, the clanking in the gear box is gone.
When I back off from the throttle the rpm drops down fast.
The engine sounded just ideling so queit when I started it.

The outlet under the TB I run an air hole to the air intake and this is what happen.
When I started the car it was revving high, It won't change gear until 6g
I was doing 30km and back off and it clank into gear but, when I get up to 80km and back off it doesn't clank back into gear

The 2 different changes that I made I also notest that the throttle pick up wasn't so touchey.
It's something to do with the air coming in.

I hope this help
