Anyone use Royal Purple ?
What type of Lubricant do you use ?

After break-in, I was considering using Royal purple in my '12 SE..
It is not a rocket ship, and WAY OVERKILL for such a little econo-car,
but I used Royal Purple in my fancy cars for quite awhile.

My Honda civic hybrid always got Mobil 1,
as it was the only 0W-20 weight oil available.

My SE uses standard 5w-20, as all my other fleet does..

For arguments sake...all synthetics are good..., just that
RP is "slippery than most",

I dont agree , I think it is over prices and from what I have seen doesnt protect any better the regular syn oils out today , My opinion is ... save your money

you really wont know without sending it off to a lab and comparing vs a different syn oil. I use it, I like it. Have it in the engine and tranny but will probably try something different in the trans next time.

I doubt its a miracle oil, as tom said you can save some money.

I've got an F-150 about to turn 185,000 miles on a steady diet of Mobil 1 (5W-30) and the Focus gets Mobil 1 (5W-20 or 0W-20). Works for me.

My ZTS had dino 5W-20 until 80,000. Then I switched to synthetic (after doing the already leaky valve cover). I put whatever is cheapest. Pennzoil, two runs with G-Oil, and the next two changes are going to be Quaker State synthetic b/c it was free after rebate. Car now has 103,000, zero oil leaks.
