Try it and tell us!!! It peels off easy from what I have heard, but is durable enough to last a year or more on exterior surfaces. I will be trying it on my wheels when I get the time. BTW, I just used the Rustoleum Taillight tint, 1000000% better than when I used VHT a couple years ago. The Rustoleum has a high gloss shine, no clearcoat needed!

It's nice when search gives you the exact info you are looking for. I have been looking for Nightshades 'cause everyone else used it,I figured it was better but could not locate any in my area so I finally just picked the Rust-Oleum figured I could test it on an old cracked '84 Mustang taillight I have before ruining a new Focus tail.

I used VHT and it's actually pretty cool. If you need to remove it, you just spray more VHT right on it, and it wipes right off.
