Just a question to start the thinking organ that most of don't use ( I speak for my self of course). But when is some one going to come out w/ a sweet turbo kit for the Duratec world? Or even a sweet S/C. And if there is one how come we never here about the guys who have them? I'm just wondering b/c I would like to save up and get it when I pay my car off (not in the near future) but I will get a new DD and in turn make my ZX3 into a project car. IDK I thought F2 came out w/ one for the Dura but it looked like it was for a Mazda....(any thouhgts) IDK if that would bolt on or what but just curious to know who out there has a S/C dura or even better IOM a T/C dura...lemme know.

Everyone that owns one (and there are lots) loves it, and I'll have to agree its the best setup on the market to date.

Supercharger kits are a long ways away, because packaging is the biggest issue. Just getting it to mount up on our engine is posing to be the biggest trouble. F2 is working on something, but that's about it.

i could me mistaken but i think roush made a turbo kit for he duratec

as for the s/c i think i read somewhere that the way the engine is set up that an s/c isnt possible, but once again i could be wrong

lots of people do, and most of them make around 210-240 whp depending on the motor and boost. the focussport turbo is in my future, after the car is paid off. and i will still daily drive it:D

I thought you knew I had the turbo Guy! I have the Focus Sport one, just havent done the install yet. Stage 2 is on backorder, stage 1 is sitting in a box at my house, lol

just cut some of that unnecessary structural crap out in the engine compartment, a hole in the hood and a few hammers to the fender. PROBLEM SOLVED!

I kinda did forget you had one Wes....lol.. but I hope you hook it up soon I would like to know how it is...but so far no one w/ a turbo(hooked up) has chimed in do all the FF have bolt on's r wut? maybe egz could pm some one w/ a turbo kit to chime in? I just want to see how they feel bout it is all. AY wes im felling a bit down can I gat a breaking MR.T

ive been e-mailing panducky motorsports about adapting a honda fit rotrex supercharger kit to my car... but before i further the discussion i want to have the money in hand for it and have panducky actually look at it to help give a decent estimate.

the member Massive has a FS stg 2 turbo so does a bunch of other ppl. Look in the Dyno thread to see some

i have a lil under 3 years left on the payments on the car then i will be going after the fs stage 2 turbo kit. but for the tume being im just doing mods that will ad me in the process like cams, pistons, rods, and so on if i ever get that far. im just taking one day at a time. your motor has to be ready for all that power why not start on it now. 3 years in advanced lol

stock cams would be best for a turbo kit... and if your gonna get pistons now, dont install them until the turbo goes on, because you'll want lower compression pistons to run more boost. and lowering the compression on an N/A car would be a drag.

what would be good to lower it to compression wise....tell ya the truth I don't even know what compression I run N/A.... well honhon?
