i was just wondering what people were running for alignments. i mean what specs and numbers specifically. or should i just have the alignment set to a factory focus alignment, or leave it with the saleen specs.
The answer to your quest really lies in application. Some may vary the alignments based on how they drive or if they compete the car.
For me, autocross and track events are the bulk of what the car is used. So, I like more negative camber (-1 degree) in the front and rear. Any more and my tires don't last. The toe setting is neutral and the caster is not adjustable.
Your question has been addressed dozens of times and a little searching should pull up quite a few numbers for you. There's also some discussions in the stickies at the top of this section. I have no idea what the saleen specs are so I can't comment on them. You don't want a factory alignment per se because the spec range is too damn broad and some combinations are a recipe for lots of tire wear.
