Wantin to install my system in my 01 zx3 wheres the best place to mont th,e amp in the trunk, and where should I put the ground please lmk.

on the sub box? or side of trunk.. ground to chassis... like seatbelt bolt or stock sub bolt .... just sand the area down before you ground it

Make an amp rack like Guru's or mine(click on the avatars to view the galleries). They are not that hard to do.

Ground can be as Mitch says or, you can drill the spare tire bracket is you are running 700 or less watts RMS. Remember to sand once again.

I mounted my amp to the back of the seat and then grounded the amp to the seat belt bolt. Haven't ever had a problem.
