I had the alternator tested and it showed it was not charging. I replaced the alternator with a re-man and took it back to be tested. Now it shows just barely in the charging zone on a load tester. Checking with a DMM showed 13.75V with nothing turned on. When I turn on the blower, lights and AC DMM shows 12.85 and slowly decreasing. Not sure if the alternator is charging properly. The car pulls 15 ma turned off. I don't think it is a loading problem when the car sits. Battery voltage after sitting 3 hours was 12.75 V. Is the alternator good?
Also does anyone have a schematic showing where the wiring harness goes that plugs onto the alternator? Should the engine idle higher when the AC is turned on?
