What is the diffrence between the SVt motor and the stock Zectec? Is is possible to build the zetec to the SVT standards?

Also what is the strongest all-motor zetecs out there????

The SVT motor has quite a few differences. For starters it has a different head, different intake manifold, different exhaust manifold, higher compression, and a different cam timing. And what exactly do you mean by building the normal zetec to svt standards? If you mean by making as much power with it as the svt does stock then yes it is very possible.

The strongest all motor zetec out there. That would probably be an esslinger motor though I am not sure. I know those guy have zetecs putting out 300+ whp N/A, these are race engines though.

You don't think a Zetec can beat an SVTF if it had a 50 shot of NOS, which costs about a grand, not including the install ?

depends on the options of the svt if u can beat it with only a few bolt ons. if its the one with traction control u will have a better shot.

esslinger does have some strong zetecs, dont they have like a 300 whp zetec escort?

That is weird but I will take your word for it, you would know more about them than I.

Thats not bad at all though, considering FC's 221 whp zetec car ran like low 13's.

svt is variable timing right, so could you change the head like they do in hondas. just curious
think youd also need an ECU changed to that of SVT as well, not worth it anyhow only one of them is variable, the intake, and you can get cam gears and have them tuned for the most power anyway[thumb]
