So I'm new to Ford and recently purchased a 2012 focus hatchback. Shortly after I bought it, I bought leather seats out of a totaled 2013 focus hatchback. After I installed them my airbag light came on and is still on. I know the seats were in a car that was totaled so they are telling the car that its been in a crash. I don't know much about air bags so I'm trying to figure out what to do to get the light off.

Not 100% sure on the newer Focus but on the older ones there is a seatbelt pre-tensioner in the actual seat belt latch. Once it goes off (like it will if involved in a crash) it will throw an airbag light.
Try swapping your old seatbelts onto the leather seats and see if it goes away.
